LONDON - The joint technical committee monitoring a global deal between the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies led by Russia found that compliance with oil cuts for September stood at 236%, four OPEC sources said.

The committee, which met via video conferencing on Thursday, discussed weak compliance with the cuts from OPEC members Nigeria and Iraq, sources said.

They added that compliance from OPEC was higher than non-OPEC, driven by the fall in production following attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure on Sept 14.
