Egypt launches tender to import 40,000 tonnes of vegetable oil

The country aims to import 30,000 tonnes of soy oil and 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil

Cairo –  Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) announced the launch of an international tender to purchase 30,000 tonnes of soy oil and 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Sunday.

The shipment is expected to arrive between 15 November to 30 November or from 1 December to 15 December.

Suppliers have to submit bids for payment with 180-day letters of credit and at sight and the GASC will choose between both offers.
