ArabFinance: Arabian Food Industries Company Domty S.A.E. (DOMT) released its annual financial results, reporting net consolidated profit of EGP 156,167,911 in 2019, compared to EGP 154,626,861 achieved a year earlier.

Nevertheless, net standalone profit reached EGP 140,204,410 in 2019, compared to EGP 139,435,226 posted in 2018.

On a quarterly basis, Domty achieved a net profit of EGP 39.1 million in 4Q2019, after achieving sales of EGP 646.9 million.

In August, the company signed an agreement to acquire and install a new bakery line with AMF, a US company considered to be one of the world-leading manufacturers of high-speed bakery equipment.

The production capacity of the new line is 270,000 pieces per day. The total cost of the new line with all of its components is EGP 50 million.

Domty, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Egypt, is a leader in the growing Egyptian cheese and juice market. The Company manufactures markets and distributes a range of branded white and processed cheeses and juice products, with a family of nearly 200 SKUs under a brand portfolio including Domty, Damo, Gebnety and Bravo.
