ArabFinance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is offering on January 17th more treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 16 billion over two tranches, according to the latest data.

The first set of notes is worth EGP 5 billion, carrying a 91-day maturity period until April 20th.

The second T-bill issue totals EGP 11 billion in value, with a tenor of 273 days until October 19th.

The CBE’s last T-bill auctions were on January 14th, where EGP 20 billion worth of notes were offered over two issuances.
