DUBAI - The Dubai Sports City, has announced that it will host its first-ever collaborative Spring Camp, over the Easter holidays, to cater for an overwhelming demand from parents for their children to participate in various sports activities during the school holidays.

During the two-week school break, participating youngsters will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of popular sports under the guidance of qualified and expert coaches in their chosen sport. The activities on offer include Spanish Soccer School, Claude Harmon III Performance Golf Academy, Dubai Eagles (Rugby), ICC Academy (Cricket), and the Clarke Francis Tennis Academy.

The sports programme has been developed with a premium sports offering at its core, from the best facilities to inspiring coaches that have trained champions and all in the surrounding of the vibrant Sports Village. There is also the option of extending the camp hours from 16:00 to 17:00 enabling parents to collect their children after work hours.

Commenting on the inaugural Spring Camp, Vijay Sajjanhar, Chief Financial Officer of Dubai Sports City, said, "At Dubai Sports City we know that sport has the power to bring individuals and cultures together. In addition to making life-long friends, learning a diverse range of skills, and discovering their hidden talents through the range of sports on offer, I am sure all those taking part will have an active fun-filled two weeks of activity. Taking place at the Sports Village, the active entertainment hub in the heart of Dubai Sports City, the first-ever Spring Camp will take place between 31st March and 11th April, 2019, giving those participating the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of popular sports under the guidance of qualified and expert coaches from each respective discipline.

Dubai Sports City’s Spring Camp offers a one-off opportunity for young people to experience five of the best sporting academies in the region and the chance to learn from trainers of sporting champions.
