COVID-19: Egypt records 861 new cases

ArabFinance: The health ministry in Egypt announced 861 new coronavirus cases on April 21st, raising the total count to 218,902 since the pandemic started in 2020.

46 new deaths were reported, while death toll hit 12,866.

Egypt currently has 164,803 total recoveries after 435 new patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, the health ministry noted.

The number of daily cases in the country has been below the 1,000 marks since January 9th.
