The Department of Government Support (DGS) has issued housing policies for employees of Abu Dhabi government entities and companies who live in the emirate.

Key features of the policy include:

1. Emiratis who live in Abu Dhabi are entitled to the full housing allowance in line with their job grade.

2. Non-Emirati employees who own property or rent in the emirate are entitled to the full annual housing stipend in line with their job grade

3. Eligible employees will receive an education allowance for children who attend schools within the emirate as per their employing entity's HR policies.

The policies are to be implemented one year from date of issue, a statement from the DGS said.

DGS Abu Dhabi was established in October 2019 and encompasses the Human Resources Authority - Abu Dhabi (HRA), the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) and the Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG).
