The UAE tech start-up, RIZEK has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alibaba Cloud for cloud-computing services, as a way to continue soaring high.

Based on this agreement, Alibaba Cloud will support RIZEK in creating innovative solutions that are earmarked for enhancing the UAE company’s data analysis and user experience capabilities.

Recently secured $1.5 million in seed funding, RIZEK is among the first tech start-ups collaborating with Alibaba Cloud, a subsidiary of the Chinese technology giant Alibaba.

The two entities have signed the deal at the Alibaba Cloud office in Dubai with senior executives of each organisation present, according to a press release on Monday.

Chief experience officer at RIZEK Layan Barghouthi commented, “Alibaba Cloud has the third-largest share of the global cloud computing market and the collaboration provides us with an ideal opportunity to use analytics powered by big data and AI technologies to better understand our customers and provide them with more tailored services.”

CEO of Alibaba Cloud Liu, Zhaopi, said concluded that “This is the first partnership of its kind with Alibaba Cloud in the region, we are honoured and proud to be partnering with a cutting-edge platform that is aiming to improve people’s lives."
