Cairo –  Egypt’s Beheira Company For Electricity Distribution is upgrading the networks of 13 villages at a total cost of EGP 58 million.

The electricity networks in eight villages in Beheira have been upgraded and work is underway for upgrading networks in five villages in Matrouh, the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity said in a statement on Monday.

This move is part of ‘Haya Karima’ (A Decent Life) initiative which aims at improving the lives of Egyptians in the neediest villages.
