Company awards first place winners of 12 hour race

Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced today its main sponsorship of the recently held GulfRun Karting Endurance Race. The event was held last weekend at SIRBB Circuit with overwhelming participation of motorsport enthusiasts.

Zain's continuous support to GulfRun is in line with the company's utmost Corporate Social Responsibility towards youth talents development and the sports sector. The company will spare no efforts in supporting causes and initiatives that spread awareness on certain areas that concern the next generation, especially that this exciting race was established by a group of Kuwaiti youth. 

Zain took part in the exciting event that was held throughout 12 continuous hours, and witnessed immense participation of motorsport enthusiast in Kuwait. The company awarded first place winning teams, further confirming its commitment towards the encouragement of youth's abilities and achievements.

The Karting Endurance race is increasingly attracting more motorsport enthusiast in Kuwait. Participants competed by driving specialized Karts at SIRBB Circuit over a straight period of 12 hours with tremendous success gathering many enthusiasts of this sport.  

GulfRun is considered an ideal and safe alternative to street racing which threatens youth's lives. Motorsport enthusiasts can showcase their talents within professional and certified circuits while gaining professional guidance based on worldwide safety procedures. Zain's sponsorship came in light of the current passion arousing within youth for car racing, and by sponsoring this event; the company is highlighting its dedication to applying safety measures while driving within Kuwaiti youth

It is worth mentioning that GulfRun is an annual motorsport event which was established in 2005 by a group of Kuwaiti youth who are simply passionate about automobile racing. The race extinguishes itself from any other motorsport race by promoting a safe and secure environment to race and train, as well as spreading awareness to limit street accidents.
