ArabFinance: Egypt Kuwait Holdings (EKH) (EKHO) consolidated net profit inched up to $116.29 million (EGP 1.82 billion) in 2020, from $115.6 million (EGP 1.81 billion) in 2019, excluding minority shareholders rights, the company reported to the Egyptian Exchange on March 1st.

As regards standalone business, net profit stood at $3.97 million (EGP 62.43 million) last year, compared to $13.08 million (EGP 205.68 million) in 2019.

During the first nine months of 2020, the company achieved a consolidate net profit of $89.27 million (EGP 1.4 billion).

EKH is an Egypt-based investment company with a diversified portfolio of investments in sectors, including fertilizers and petrochemicals, energy, insurance, manufacturing, information technology, transport, and infrastructure.

The company has investments in 20 companies across five countries, including Egypt, Kuwait, South Sudan, and Syria.
