Muscat, Oman: Continuing to harness the untapped potential of women across the country, Ooredoo, in collaboration with the Omani Women’s Association and under the Ministry of Social Development, has conducted its Springboard programme for women’s incubators in Al Kamil, Al Wafi and Ibri. Over 140 participants have passed through the initiative so far, which is designed to bolster the skills of graduates, tackling issues like confidence building, setting goals, networking, assertiveness and managing anxiety. Delivered by certified trainer and Ooredoo’s Head of CSR Ayesha Al Shoily, the first sessions began in Samail, Mussanah and Manah in August, with more planned by the end of the year.

Raed Mohammed Dawood, Director of Branding, Communications and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo, said, “Placing ourselves at the heart of the community, Ooredoo continues to support the advancement of Omani women as key contributors to the country’s sustainable economic and social growth. In today’s challenging world, it’s more important than ever to build life skills that will help them in both business and life in general.”

Part of its award-winning Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, the women’s incubator programme has trained thousands of women across the country, enabling them to turn their talents into viable businesses. Meanwhile, Ooredoo celebrated the 12th batch of graduates from its pioneering Springboard programme this year, as it continues to harness talent and help women live more productive, happier and entrepreneurial lives.
