(TAP) - Tunisia, on Monday, took delivery of 400,000 doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine donated by China, to support the country's efforts to fight the coronavirus.

A reception ceremony took place at the Tunis Carthage airport in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Othman Jerandi, as well as Director of Military Health Mustapha Ferjani and ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Tunisia Zhang Jianguo.

The Chinese ambassador emphasised the strong relations between Tunisia and China, saying his country will continue supporting Tunisia to overcome the pandemic.
