Egypt says buys 3.4mln tonnes of local wheat so far this season

CAIRO- Egypt, one of the world's top wheat importers, said on Tuesday it had bought 3.4 million tonnes of its local production of the grain so far this season.

Wheat strategic reserves are at 4.4 months, Supply Minister Ali Moselhi told Reuters.
