Cairo – The listing committee of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) decided to list Emerald Real Estate Investment’s stock with an issued capital of EGP 250 million.

A total of 250 million shares at a nominal value of EGP 1 apiece will be listed in seven issues, according to a statement on Thursday.

Shares will be listed on the EGX on 29 January under ticker symbol “EMRI”, the statement showed.

Previously, the company’s main shareholders Odin Investments and the Egyptians for Housing and Development Co announced that Emerald Real Estate Investment submitted a request to the Financial Regulatory Authority to float a stake on the EGX.
