Cairo –The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices went down in the week ended 5 December, as market capitalisation lost EGP 10 billion.

The benchmark index, EGX30, shed 227 points, or 1.6%, to 13,622 points. The EGX70 index declined by 1.26% to 526 points.

The EGX100 index levelled down by 1.4% to 1,382 points, while the equally-weighted index, EGX50, decreased by 2.15% to 1,968 points.

Market capitalisation declined to EGP 695.19 billion over the week, compared to EGP 705.1 billion in the previous week.
