Widows, divorced and single women could be eligible for government homes under a new legislation to be debated by Parliament.
It is among 44 bills referred to parliamentary committees for review.The topics include 25 new government-drafted bills, three bills referred by the Shura Council, 15 decrees issued by His Majesty King Hamad as well as the closing financial statement of the Future Generations Fund 2020.
Committee chairmen will continue to work until elections for new chairmen and vice-chairmen are held next week, Parliament Speaker Fouzia Zainal told MPs during the weekly session.
