RIYADH: Saudi families continue to benefit from the Housing Ministry’s Sakani program, which seeks to achieve the Vision 2030 target of ensuring homeownership for 70 percent Saudi by 2030.

A total of 45,816 families benefited from subsidized home loans offered by the program from the beginning of January to August 2021.

This is in addition to the beneficiaries of several other housing solutions offered by the program.

The number of beneficiaries of other Sakani services has reached 145,000 families during the same period ending August 2021.   Of the total, more than 115,038 families have moved into their new homes.

The Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund formed Sakani in 2017 with the aim of facilitating home ownership in the Kingdom.
