Cairo –  The Egyptian leather market has seen a sales growth between 20% and 25% during Eid al-Adha holiday when compared to the volume sold during Eid al-Fitr feast, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.

The prices for all products, of which most are locally manufactured, were stable, said Osama Al Toukhy, an official from the Leather Chamber affiliated to the Federation of Egyptian Industries.

Sales and purchase activity started to improve after the daily COVID-19 case count shrank, he noted, expecting a further rise in sales as life and tourism return to normal across the globe.
