Dubai, UAE: Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE has always maintained its tradition of welcoming the holy month of ‘Ramadan’ with attractive discounts & promotion campaigns and social responsibility initiatives. The firm’s latest announcement comes of no surprise as Union Coop announces price reductions up-to 75 percent on more than 30, 000 products, with a budget of AED 175 Million allocated towards several Ramadan Promotions.

The much-anticipated announcement was made in the Press Conference held on 31st of March, Wednesday at Union Coop’s Al Warqa City Mall in Dubai. The conference was held in the presence of H.E. Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop, Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki – The Happiness and Marketing Director at Union Coop and several media representatives and officials.

Talking to the Press about Union Coop’s Ramadan initiatives, Al Falasi said, “All our upcoming Ramadan campaigns and initiatives fall in line with our objective of spreading community happiness, which are part of Union Coop’s continued efforts towards easing the burden on consumers, who get high-quality products/ commodities at competitive prices. The promotional offers include basic food and consumer goods, including rice, meat and poultry, canned food, fruits and vegetables, Ramadan special products, and other products.”

6 Phases of Promotional Campaigns

Stressing on the promotional campaigns, Al Falasi said, “Union Coop Ramadan plan includes 6 phases of promotional campaigns that will see the price reduction on more than 30, 000 Food and Non Food products, by 25 to 75 percent. We have included a wide variety of products to the mix, keeping in mind the diversity of the population in our country and meet everyone’s needs.”

Uninterrupted Supply and 24 Hour Shopping Experience

Ensuring customers about the undisturbed shopping experience and uninterrupted supply, AL Falasi said, “To ensure uninterrupted flow of commodities, we have deployed 24-hour Supplier delivery and special space arrangements to accommodate extra stock. Pre-booking of stocks from suppliers have also been considered to confirm ready availability.”

He further added, “Our Union Coop branches at Umm Suqeim, Al Wasl, Al Twar and Al Warqa will operate 24 hours as a part of Ramadan special arrangement, to allow our customers to enjoy their Ramadan shopping irrespective of any time frame and avoid the crowd or even long queue, taking into account all precautionary and preventive measures.”
