Around 7,700 students have been admitted in the Bachelors’ programme and Associate Diplomas at University of Bahrain (UoB) for the academic year 2020-2021.

UoB president Dr Riyadh Hamza said that an unprecedented number of high school graduates had applied online to enroll at Bahrain’s largest public university.

He stressed the importance of co-operation with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) which facilitated the admission process amid Covid-19 precautionary measures.

The university has posted results on the management information system sis.uob.edu.bh for admitted students to finalise procedures.

The admission and registration department said that confirmation of students’ enrollments started yesterday and will run until Wednesday.

Students will have to sit an aptitude test to ensure that their admission becomes final.
