Cairo –  The shareholders of CI Capital Holding For Financial Investments have approved raising the issued and paid-up capital by EGP 200 million from EGP 800 million to EGP 1 billion.

The capital increase is distributed over 200 million shares at a nominal value of EGP 1 per share, to be distributed at 0.25 bonus share for every share held, according to the company's disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.

The rise in the capital will be financed from the issue premium reserve that has a total value of EGP 602.73 million, as per the financial statements for 2019.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2019, the company reported a 46.05% year-on-year (YoY) profit surge to EGP 621.15 million from EGP 425.31 million in 2018.
