As part of its mission to position Bahrain as an education destination for the region, The American University of Bahrain (AUBH), has enrolled transfer students from North America, the wider Middle East, North Africa, and Asia for its Inaugural spring term. International students will be welcomed to the University’s state-of-the-art campus in Riffa for their orientation on February 9, 2020.

AUBH launched a holistic solution for students to transfer the maximum number of credits to the University’s degree programs, which are offered across three Colleges of Business and Management, Architecture and Design and Engineering. The process facilitates credit transfer for applicants from universities on an international level, including American-style universities, in response to high demand. The process was launched during the university’s first Open House of 2020, in partnership with Mumtalakat.

AUBH continues admitting students for the spring and fall 2020 semesters.

AUBH Provost, Dr. Mark. D. Shermis, commented: “Our objective is for students to earn locally recognised degrees, with global mobility and recognition. This will be accomplished with the AUBH quality mark which we are becoming synonymous with, and we want to be accessible to students who are considering transfers in an open education market. I am grateful for the kingdom’s visionary support on education, and the recent support we have received from the HEC and Mumtalakat. Also, thanks to Bahrain’s key position as the “Best Place for Expatriates” (2019 InterNations Expat Survey), international Students are starting to seek us out and to see Bahrain as a key destination for education in the region.”

AUBH’s purpose-built campus in Riffa is a second home to a new caliber of students, nurtured and mentored by hand-picked faculty with the best international and local expertise. As the first American-style University in Bahrain, AUBH takes a unique approach to learning, going beyond imparting knowledge to giving students access to real world scenarios and practical case-based learning.
Complete with the latest in learning technology, Library, labs, and a Sports Centre, the Campus is alive with the buzz of academic and extra-curricular life, amongst a multi-cultural student body.-- Tradearabia News Service
