Muscat: A house that was being used to prepare food for commercial sale was raided by Muscat Municipality, Municipal authorities announced.
Officials also said that food was being prepared in unhygienic conditions.
A statement by Muscat Municipality said, "Muscat Municipality in al Seeb, in coordination with the administration of Public Prosecution, raided a house that was being used by expat workers as a place to prepare meals in commercial quantities in unhygienic conditions. [This was being done] with the purpose of selling meals to cafes and restaurants.
"Legal action will be taken against the violators," the statement added
