Mercato announced its Ramadan initiative to support UAE communities during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The initiative is in partnership with Dubai Police with the aim of helping the communities to meet the challenge of COVID-19 pandemic more effectively.

Mercato is adapting its Corporate Social Responsibility partnership with Dubai Police in creating and distributing "Personal Safety" kit – that include sanitizer solutions, gloves and masks. Under this solidarity initiative, 3000 packs have been supplied by Mercato to  Dubai Police for their discretionary use. Police forces in Dubai are highly mobilized in this context, and in turn, some of the packs have been distributed to the Mercato and Town Centre Jumeriah visitors by Dubai Police personnel.


Nisreen Boustani, Public Relations and Corporate Communication Manager at Mercato and Town Centre Jumeirah , said: “Mercato is pleased to partner with Dubai Police and support the communities by distributing safety kits containing personal protective equipment such as masks, and gloves as well as hand sanitizers to help protect members of the society.”
