Laptops initiative to students in Bahrain a huge success

An initiative to provide laptops to students to continue remote learning amid the Covid-19 pandemic has been completed successfully.

Under its ‘100 laptops’ campaign, Al Mabarrah Al Khalifia Foundation (MKF) exceeded its initial target and presented the devices to 162 after receiving 1,026 applications.

MKF chairwoman Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa thanked Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa for donating 60 laptops, KPMG Fakhro (50 laptops), Abdulrahim Al Kooheji Foundation (nine laptops) and Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid Al Khalifa (three laptops).
