Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC), convened the first quarter meeting of the Centre’s Board of Directors on Monday, April 12.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdulla bin Ali bin Saud Al-Thani, Board Vice Chairman and Managing Director of QLC, and members of the Board, and the Centre’s executive management. During the meeting the Board discussed QLC’s first quarter achievements and matters of organizational priority.

Topics on the agenda included this year’s National Leadership Programs, as well as the value and effectiveness of the curriculum, which was designed in cooperation with international academic partners such as Duke University, Georgetown University, and Harvard University to enhance remote learning through virtual tools. 

In addition, the Board also received updates on registrations for the Executive Master’s in Leadership - Qatar program, to begin in September 2021.

The Centre’s management reported that QLC has emphasized the importance of adhering to Ministry of Public Health guidelines, utilizing the best technological tools available for virtual learning and other Centre activities.
