Muscat: Eshraqa, Khimji Ramdas’ social development arm recently steered the 4th edition of its highly coveted, Managerial Effectiveness and Leadership Skills workshop in association with Khimji Training Institute (KTI) for 33 administrative employees and executives from various colleges and universities. Targeted at shaping the leaders of tomorrow, the two-day intensive workshop was held at the KTI’s educational facility at Azaiba and is sanctioned by the Institute of Leadership and Management, U.K. The workshop aims at moulding budding managers into effective leaders that champion positive results.

Nadeem Ahmed, General Manager, Khimji Training Institute said, “Resilient managers make the best leaders. Our aim is to encourage and motivate uninhibited growth within our participants to be even better at what they do. This course provides precise roadway to understanding; of self and others while imparting essential leadership skills to help them excel".

The seminar was held at the Khimji Training Institute and saw attendance from prestigious Omani institutions including International College of Engineering & Management, Ibri College of Technology, Arab Open University, College of Applied Sciences, Vocational College, GU Tech, Muscat College, Mazoon College and Royal flight of Oman School. The unique program inspires growth within participants by imparting skills that allow them to understand themselves and work better as a cohesive team. The course also delivers multifaceted problem solving skills on the journey towards personal and professional success. Till date, over 100 professionals have benefitted from this progressive initiative.

One of the participants, Asad Al Ghafri, Head of Admission and Registration, Arab Open University noted, “The course has added immense value to my practical capabilities and transformed by thinking. It has augmented my performance, allowing me to effectively manage work and encourage the staff to maintain high productivity while working smart. With the participation in this fruitful session, I have broadened my understanding of how to direct my staff towards accomplishing their tasks efficiently.
