The project includes family courtyards, football and basketball courts equipped with a smart entrance gate as a social and sporting destination for residents.

Dawood Al Hajri, director general of Dubai Municipality, said: “We take the vision of our wise leadership to promote the principles of welfare and happiness among the community members as an approach and basis for all the projects implemented by the Municipality. The comfort and happiness of the residents and citizens is our top priority."

"The project aims to provide all the requirements for all housing areas in Dubai to provide the residents the luxury of living, we have taken into consideration the types of games to be suitable for different ages for children, in order to preserve their health and wellness. In addition, we provided all the requirements for people of determination as an important element in the design of arenas and stadiums, through the selection of games that are flexible and easy to use,” he added.

Dubai Municipality has installed an electronic system at the yards’ entrances to enable the owners of neighbouring houses accessing the facilities, by only swiping the cards at the device provided, which will be distributed to them at the end of this month.

These squares and playgrounds in the residential neighbourhoods are essential elements of urban planning, as they contribute in increasing social links between the inhabitants providing happiness and comfort.
