Dubai, UAE; Dubai Quality Group conducted EFQM Excellence Training programme for a delegation from General Secretariat of Ministers Council - Iraq in association with United Nations Development Programme – UNDP. The Excellence programme conducted on four days in a row, the programme has been followed by a Benchmarking Program in association with the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority - DEWA & Knowledge & Human Development Authority, where they shared their best practices & journey towards Excellence.
Dubai Quality Group used to organize mainly Quality and Business Excellence topics related training programs and events throughout the year with the objective of improving and promoting Quality of Service & Business Excellence in the Region. Hence, this program has been setup with the objective of qualifying the participants to become international accredited assessors in the field of European Excellence EFQM, where the DQG handed over the certificate of "EFQM Assessor Training Programme” to the 16 person from Iraqi delegation
The EFQM Assessor Training (EAT) was in Arabic and designed to train qualified EFQM Assessors, as well as provide a more detailed understanding of the EFQM Excellence Model and the RADAR Logic. This course provides an efficient learning experience delivered by experienced professionals.
A pre-course work is required (+/- 10-15 hours), which enables the participant to have an insight in the case study and be prepared for the group exercises. It uses a case study which resembles a real submission document, which helps simulating real-life assessing circumstances during the group exercises.
Throughout the EFQM programme, the participants have been evaluated by the trainers, based on an Assessor Competency Model. This individual assessment and coaching is based on participant’s team work contributions, participant’s evaluation of information, feedback and written exercises. It helps the participant to build on his strengths and work on his areas for improvement.
This course is a pass or fail. Passing formally qualifies the participant as an international EFQM Excellence Assessor and enables him to potentially act as an EFQM Award Assessor.
At the end of the program, Dubai Quality Group (DQG) invited the Iraqi delegation of the General Secretariat of Ministers Council and United Nations Development Program in Iraq to lunch party at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai.
