Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai Land Department (DLD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The MoU showcases both parties’ commitment to strengthening their existing strategic cooperation through unifying efforts in improving the institutional work to serve all customers. HE Juma bin Humaidan, Deputy Director General of DLD, signed the MoU with Hawazen Esber, CEO of Communities at Majid Al Futtaim - Properties.

HE Juma bin Humaidan, Deputy Director General of DLD, commented: “This new MoU strengthens cooperation with private sector institutions to achieve the vision of Smart Dubai to make the Emirate a regional hub for business, finance, and tourism. We will work together to promote innovation and increase customer satisfaction and the public’s happiness.”

Bin Humaidan added: “Through cooperation, we will improve the performance of processes and customer service, and simplify procedures. We can achieve this goal through continuous communication and the exchange of knowledge, institutional experiences, information, and studies at all levels. We will be partnering closely to implement joint projects including real estate promotion and collaboration in the integration of electronic systems.”

Hawazen Esber commented: “We are proud of our partnership with DLD and are excited to continue playing a key role in helping Dubai achieve its vision of becoming a Smart City. Through this partnership, we are taking a step forward towards utilising innovation and technology to further enhance the customer experience. Under the MoU, both parties will work to facilitate the exchange of best practices for creativity and innovation in common areas and build an effective platform to achieve common strategic objectives.
