The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai has announced the suspension tour services and activities related to sea cruises, desert camps, safaris as well as floating restaurants from Monday, March 16.

The announcement is in line with the efforts to safeguard public health and the same was declared in a tweet on Dubai Media Office official account.

All scheduled events hosted by hotels and entertainment destinations in Dubai have also been cancelled. This is in line with the ongoing efforts to safeguard public health against Covid-19.

The Dubai Media Office announced on Twitter that all events from March 15 until the end of the month have been suspended. "DTCM also directs all entertainment destinations to suspend operations and all hospitality establishments and wedding halls to suspend wedding gatherings from Sunday, 15 March, 2020, till the end of the month," the media office tweeted.

Authorities warned that the facilities concerned will be inspected to ensure compliance.
