UAE-based MEP and civil construction product supplier Hira Industries has expanded its Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ)-based production facility, adding another 100,000 square feet of land. 

The additional land area In RAKEZ Al Ghail Industrial Zone will help Hira add extra storage capacity for its building and construction products as well as introduce new products on its existing lines, RAKEZ said in a press statement.

A ground-breaking ceremony to mark the beginning of the construction was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, RAKEZ Managing Director, the statement said.

It noted that the investment is expected to create an approximate 100 new jobs within the Ras Al Khaimah ecosystem.
