Abu Dhabi, UAE - Rockwell Automation, the world's largest company dedicated to industrial automation and information, will demonstrate how the Oil and Gas sector can achieve operational excellence through automation, control and safety systems and Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) from November 12-15, 2018.

The highlights of the Rockwell Automation showcase at ADIPEC will be its Digital Oilfield and ConnectedProduction solutions and the Middle East premiere of the latest version of its ThinManager client management software platform.

“ADIPEC is a great opportunity to meet and discuss how available technologies and the adoption of digitalization projects provide a number of benefits for the users in the Oil and Gas sector,” said Pankaj Shrivastava, field business leader architecture and software, Rockwell Automation. “We want to demonstrate how Industry 4.0 and IIoT can advance operations into a more connected digital oilfield and solve every day business challenges. This year, we will also highlight how ConnectedProduction
has been re-enforced with our strategic partnership with PTC, an IIoT technology leader that brings high performance tools ranging from aggregation and data contextualization software to augmented reality applications.”

At the booth 1230 in Hall 1 of the world’s leading oil and gas exhibition and conference, Rockwell Automation will showcase solutions that allow producers to improve nearly all aspects of oil and gas production, from maximizing equipment performance and meeting production targets to lowering operating costs.

The ConnectedProduction environment by Rockwell Automation connects all automation systems in the oil and gas production facilities and equipment - from wells, separators and scrubbers to tanks, compressor and pumps – under one platform and one production model.

“ConnectedProduction solutions give our clients the comprehensive visualization, control, data contextualization and workflow platform they need to enable production optimization workflows and improve efficiency across their entire operation,” said Thony Brito Cardier, regional sales manager Rockwell Automation. “It offers the opportunity to access previously unavailable equipment diagnostics – and even predictions of future performance, facilitating the digital transformation of the production operations.”

In line with the ConnectedProduction and Digital Oilfields solutions, Rockwell Automation will showcase its newest version of the ThinManager client management software, for the first time in the Region.

ThinManager provides software solutions for automation networks that help to enable secure, centralized configuration and deployment of applications and content to every PC, thin client, mobile device and user. ThinManager increases safety and security through powerful visualization and authentication features allowing customers to reduce maintenance and downtime by simplifying the management of all devices and users.

The new ThinManager v10.0 platform offers new visualization, mobility and security features, which can help operators and technicians produce more with less downtime using the Rockwell Automation software portfolio and industrial-grade thin clients.
