Dubai, 01 September 2019: With an aim to make roads safer, reduce accidents and traffic incidents in the city, Dubai Police had launched ‘A Day Without Accidents' awareness campaign from 01 August to 01 September 2019. Supporting them in this initiative was UAE Exchange, a leading financial services brand in the United Arab Emirates.

“As an active corporate citizen, we believe in adding value to the community through various outreach programmes. We are glad to be associated with Dubai Police for ‘A Day Without Accidents' campaign that aims to make roads safer in the country and thank them for recognising our efforts towards this campaign. The month-long campaign included awareness sessions about safe driving among our customers and employees across our retail outlets and digital channels,” said Abdel Kareem Alkayed, Country Head, UAE Exchange-UAE, at the felicitation ceremony.

To take part in this year's ‘A Day Without Accidents' campaign, individuals were required to log into Dubai Police website and sign a pledge promising to drive carefully and be eligible for awards such as certificates, discounts on traffic fees and the cancellation of black points on offer to those who honour the commitment.
