Sharjah: The Acres 2018 real estate investment exhibition, which was organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and the Real Estate Sector Business Group in Sharjah, and was hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah, witnessed the signing of a large number of real estate transactions that benefited from the diversity of investment opportunities and financing options offered by the real estate companies that participated in the event.
The exhibition, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, also witnessed a huge turnout from businesspeople, investors and property buyers who discovered the real estate investment opportunities that are available in Sharjah’s real estate sector.
The exhibition attracted the participation of more than 45 local and international exhibitors who specialize in real estate development and investment. The exhibitors presented a variety of investment offers and opportunities to visitors, such as housing units, residential projects, homes, and touristic and commercial facilities.
Acres, which is in its 5th edition, organized a number of seminars on the legal aspect of investment in real estate field, which included the participation of a number of institutions and legal specialists. The exhibition also included workshops that were organized to raise awareness on real estate investment and marketing through social media.
HE Khalid Bin Butti Al Hajri, Director-General of the SCCI, expressed the Chamber’s thanks and gratitude to Expo Centre Sharjah for its efforts in supporting the Exhibition. He also expressed the chamber’s gratitude towards the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the Real Estate Sector Business Group in Sharjah and all other parties that cooperated and contributed to the success of the Exhibition.
HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, pointed out that organizing the Acres Exhibition comes in line with Sharjah's vision to diversify the emirate's income sources and lessen its dependence on oil, and to promote the real estate projects and investment opportunities that are available in the Emirate. He added that the real estate sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country, with an estimated value of more than Dh918 billion.
HE Saeed Ghanim Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Real Estate Sector Business Group, stated that the Exhibition has demonstrated the Emirate’s real estate investment opportunities, and contributed to attracting investors to the real estate sector in Sharjah.
The Acres exhibition was organized with support from Expo Centre Sharjah, and was sponsored by Tilal Properties, Sharjah Municipality, Sharjah’s Directorate Of Town Planning and Survey, Sharjah Media Corporation and RTA Sharjah.
