Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi T10 together with event partners, the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, this week launched a series of exclusive travel packages at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) for those wishing to celebrate this Diwali with an exciting event like no other.
This year’s Abu Dhabi T10 will bring together some of the world’s most explosive cricketers to compete in short 90-minute games along with Bollywood’s hottest stars and a 12-day Diwali carnival (celebrating the Hindu festival of light) catering to everyone from cricket fans to young families and Indian pop-culture entertainment addicts from 23rd October to 3rd November.
Official travel partner Nirvana Travel & Tourism have been brought on board by the event organisers to take the diverse range of travel packages to local GCC and international markets for those wishing to experience this one of a kind event and the wonders of Arabian culture and hospitality that engulfs the city.
Abu Dhabi T10 event ambassador, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, was on hand this week at ATM to promote the new travel packages. Straight off a flight from filming her upcoming movie Pagalpanti in London, the actress launched the packages whilst speaking to travel operators about the incredible event which will be held in the UAE capital over the next five years as part of a landmark deal between Abu Dhabi Cricket, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the Department of Culture and Tourism (Abu Dhabi) and the T10 League.
Commenting about this year’s Abu Dhabi T10, Urvashi Rautela said, “I’m really looking forward to this year’s Diwali festival in particular - this is a new addition to the event which really excites me. I love Diwali and as a Hindu this is one of the biggest festivals of the year for myself and my family - I really look forward to experiencing the celebrations at the Abu Dhabi T10 in October.”
Ms Rautela also spent two days experiencing the wonderful sights of Abu Dhabi visiting Qasr al Watan (the Presidential Palace), Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Louvre, demonstrating the wonders of the nation’s capital to her adoring 16 millions fans across social media.
