Manama, Bahrain: Flat6Labs Bahrain has successfully completed its 5th Cycle, where 8 startups took part in the 4-month acceleration programme, the first of its kind in the Kingdom.
The 5th Cycle received over 200 applications from more than 50 countries which was then narrowed down to a final selection of 8 Startups that consisted of teams addressing problems with unique solutions across an array of industries including Ed-Tech, Construction, Property, Automobile, Pet Care, Social Networking, and Health & Fitness. Having completed the programme, the startups will be showcasing their businesses in the accelerator’s Fifth Demo Day on the 29th of September. The virtual event will premiere at 6:00PM on Youtube and Facebook and attendees can register at demoday.flat6labsbahrain.com.
Ali Fakhro the Managing Director of Flat6Labs Bahrain said: ‘Through careful and strategic planning, we managed to tailor an entirely virtual program that fulfilled our objective of supporting our portfolio companies. With the support of their mentors and the backing of our team, our 5th Cohort has produced a promising group offering innovative solutions to the market.’
Throughout the four-month intensive developmental program, they were given access to world-class trainers, mentors and coaches as well as a host of perks, all organised virtually. This is an exemplary case of how Flat6Labs pioneers innovation in the startup ecosystem given that they are one of the first accelerators to adapt the programme into an online format, continuing to grow the Kingdom’s startup ecosystem while ensuring the safety of their entrepreneurs.
