Sharjah lists $200mln sukuk on Nasdaq Dubai

Nasdaq Dubai's new Sukuk listings in 2020 now total $2.9 billion

Sharjah has listed on March 19 a $200 million sukuk on Nasdaq Dubai, the exchange said in a statement.

Nasdaq Dubai’s new Sukuk listings in 2020 now total $2.9 billion, compared to $14.15 billion in new listings for the full year 2019.

The listing brings the total value of sukuk listed in Dubai to $67.06 billion, the statement said.

44 percent of Nasdaq Dubai’s sukuk listings by value are from UAE issuers while 56 percent are from overseas issuers.
