Egypt - Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt’s (FAIT) (FAITA) volume of business increased to EGP 97.478 billion at the end of May 2019, compared to EGP 85.676 billion in the same period last year, representing 13.8% growth, the bank stated in a statement sent to EGX.

Additionally, the total assets of the bank increased from EGP 84.444 billion in May 2018 to EGP 95.865 billion in May 2019, representing 13.5% growth.

The current accounts and deposits rose to EGP 81.200 billion in May 2019, compared to EGP 72.989 billion in the same period of the previous year, representing 11.3% growth.

The bank accounts reached 1,661,000 by the end of May 2019.
