ArabFinance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is offering on October 12th treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a total value of EGP 4 billion, according to the latest data.

The T-bonds carry a seven-year tenor, starting October 13th 2020 until the same date in 2027, the CBE’s data indicated.

The central bank has offered another EGP 4 billion in T-bonds on October 11th, carrying a maturity of three years.

Last week, the CBE issued debt instruments of EGP 10 billion in T-bonds, where 186 bids were submitted at a total value of EGP 17.62 billion.
