Abu Dhabi-based investment company, Waha Capital, has divested its remaining stake in New-York listed Aercap Holdings for 40 million UAE dirhams ($10.89 million).

Waha Capital has been a shareholder in AerCap since 2010 and has reduced its stake gradually in recent years to relocate capital in diverse investments to enhance shareholder value, Waha said in a statement.

Waha appointed a new chief executive officer following a management shakeup earlier this year. The company has invested in energy, financial services, healthcare, infrastructure and other sectors through its private investments business.
