Scooby-Doo brings joy to Riyadh

The Scooby-Doo Show, a great performance with a lively audience, was held at Riyadh’s King Fahad Cultural Center on Saturday.

Families attended the event and thoroughly enjoyed it, which was evident from gleeful laughter and joyous cries during the performance.

Just a few years ago, such an event would have been unheard of. Nowadays, events such as this are bringing families together and providing them with an opportunity to spend quality time together outside their homes.

An attendee of the show, Nora Al-Sudairi, said: “It was a lovely experience. I have been to many shows with my children but yesterday was exceptional because I attended (the event) in Riyadh and with my whole family and husband included. We all enjoyed it. There was a story behind it and it made the kids think. What I did not like about it was the inability to purchase snacks, except outside in the freezing cold.”

Shows like these are family friendly and encourage all family members to attend. Latifa Abdullah said: “I would never have thought in a million years that I could go anywhere with my husband and kids together, but tonight we are here and enjoying it with no problems or harassment.”
