Muscat - More than 110,000 people visited Muscat Festival from January 10 to 15.

Figures show that altogether 110,506 people visited the festival during this period. “Naseem Gardens received 51,637 visitors while 55,317 people visited Amerat Park. Also, 3,552 turned up at other Muscat Festival venues,” Muscat Municipality, the event organiser, said.

The 19th edition of Muscat Festival will continue till February 9, presenting a series of knowledge, culture and entertainment-based events that cater to various segments.

The main events of the festival are taking place at Naseem Gardens, Amerat Park and the Oman Automobile Association grounds among other venues.Amerat Park has electronic games, daily fireworks, stage events, kiosks of private and public organisations, food outlets  and concerts. 

Naseem Gardens has exhibitions, consumer fairs, a mini village, a children’s theatre, fun rides, daily fireworks display and folk shows. 

The festival is also hosting lectures, poetry evenings and competitions, screening of documentaries and a series of local and international sports events.
