A number of schools have already conducted mock remote lessons to check their readiness to deliver virtual classes and ensure teacher-student virtual interaction.

Al Taawon Secondary Boys’ School, Khawla Secondary Girls’ School and Al Hidaya Al Khalifiya Secondary Boys’ School were among the educational establishments which took part in the mock virtual lessons in the run-up to the new school year.

Schools have reached out to all parents, sent them their children’s timetables and updated them about learning platforms and other required instructions and guidelines.

The administrative and teaching staff in public schools resumed work last week with 50 per cent of teachers attending on a rotational basis. Schools open for pupils next Sunday.

More than 800 audiovisual lessons are ready to be aired on Bahrain TV, in addition to 14 YouTube channels and other online platforms, including WhatsApp.
