ArabFinance: The Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation confirmed regular air traffic between Cairo International Airport and Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport in Lebanon, according to an August 5th statement.

All departing and arriving flights between the two destinations are operating as scheduled, the statement added.

This announcement followed the massive explosion that hit the Lebanese capital on August 4th, which displaced about 300,000 citizens.

In line with the spread of COVID-19, exceptional flights transported 1,400 Egyptian citizens stranded in Lebanon last June.
