COVID-19: Egypt’s cases exceed 116,000 mark

Reuters/Amr Abdallah DalshArabFinance: Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population announced 392 new COVID-19 infections on December 1st, bringing the total cases to 116,303.
The death toll stood at 6,666 until press time, after the ministry detected 16 new fatalities.
The country now has 102,816 total recoveries, after 98 new patients have been discharged from COVID-19 hospitals.
The number of daily cases has been above the 300 mark since November 18th.
