RIYADH The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRA) have signed a memorandum of cooperation aiming to speed up procedures for real estate title registration and raise the Kingdom’s ranking in international indexes.

“The memorandum provides for the formation of a mutual commission for facilitating real estate tasks, preparing a plan for the application of property ID to all title deeds, and studying joint property title deeds,” the MoJ said.

The commission will also undertake the governance of procedures for planning, partitioning, division, surveying decisions, and the issuance of grant title deeds. It will also supervise digital integration related to property works.

The step is part of the collaboration between the two ministries aiming to improve services, enhance efficiency, and achieve common goals. — SG
