Muscat: The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) has shut down a pharmacy in South Al Batinah for raising the price of face masks.

A statement issued online by the PACP said: "The Public Authority for Consumer Protection, represented by Barka administration, has closed a pharmacy in the wilayat for raising the price of masks, taking advantage of the needs of consumers to buy them after the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19, which requires everyone to wear masks in public places."
