Muscat: The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP), in collaboration with Mohsin Haider Darwish, announced a campaign on Thursday to recall 88 2016 Volvo XC90 cars and three 2017 Volvo S90 cars.

The recall is for Volvo XC90 cars with chassis numbers 0000064 to 0129750 and Volvo S90 cars with chassis numbers 0000001 to 0006423, stated a press release.

The recall is due to a possible incorrect installation of an air conditioning pipe, which carries water out from the system. The car dealer will work to inspect and re-install the pipe and change it if necessary.

These recalls reassure consumers of the efforts taken to ensure their safety, the authority stated.
